Purpose: To provide and prepare nutritional, wholesome meals to those living in the West Side area. These meals are prepared and served at St. Ignatius Parish at 10205 Lorain Ave. While volunteering with the Hot Meals Program, there may be additional areas that one may consider to continue to volunteer: tutoring, mentoring and serving meals.
Commitment: Again there are two teams helping with meals. The volunteers serve once every other month. This meal is prepared on 1st & the 3rd Wednesday of each month. You’ll be at St. Ignatius from 3:30 p.m.-7:00 p.m. Car pools are often available.
Preparation: This meal program is coordinated through our St Vincent de Paul organization. There is no formal training.
