Purpose: The purpose of the Boy Scouts of America is to provide for boys and young adults, an effective educational program designed to build desirable qualities of character; to train in the responsibilities of participating citizenship and to develop personal fitness. Mighty serious business, all done in the spirit of fun.
Commitment: Parents, Leaders and organizations work together to achieve the above purpose of Scouting.
